So why did we choose the name “The Enoch House“?

 

Enoch, traslated means Initiate.

 

A primitive root; properly to narrow (compare H2614); figuratively to initiate or discipline: – dedicate, train up.

 

The name means to:

• With measure (ie.  Narrow)

 

“House” incorporates the concepts of:

• A place of belonging
• Family
• Relationship
• A concept wider than just the local church
• But incorporating the local church
• Relational ties beyond just the local setting
• Measures of conduct
• Care
• Includes friends as well

 

Mentoring:

Of individuals and groups for ministry whether to church activity or market place activity. In their functions as church planters or leaders.

For the raising and directing and continuous accountability of a leadership.

 

Discipling:

To focus on the raising of the standard of the follower lifestyle of Christians.

 

Training:

Online and in attendance to train and equip the church by the 5-fold ministry gifts for effective Christian living and influential leadership; church planting and missionary outreaches.

 

Support:

To train and mentor apostolic teams to be involved in church planting efforts and local church support.
